Enforcement of the EU AI Act
On August 2, the provisions concerning advanced technologies such as generative AI in the European Union’s comprehensive regulatory framework for artificial intelligence (AI), known as the AI Act, came into effect. This law, enacted last year, adopts a risk-based approach by applying regulations according to the level of risk posed by different AI systems. It is considered the world’s first comprehensive legal framework for AI.
