SWCC’s Intellectual Property and Intangible Asset Initiatives Behind a 4-Fold Increase in Stock Price over Two Years

On March 24, Nikkei Business published an article titled "SWCC Stock Price Quadruples in Two Years: President's Directive to 'Turn ROIC into a Weapon in Two Months'— Letting Go of 90 Years of Tradition." According to the article, "SWCC, a major wire manufacturer, is achieving strong financial performance through bold strategic decisions. In May 2024, SWCC announced its withdrawal from the aluminum overhead transmission line business, strategically shedding low-profit operations by leveraging Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) as a key performance measure."
