技術経営とROIC経営の両輪でイノベーション：オムロン

日経ESGのLeaders 未来戦略インタビュー『オムロン・井垣勉常務「イノベーションへ会社一丸」』（2025年3月11日付）では、『「技術経営」と「ROIC経営」の両輪で企業理念を実践し、事業を通した社会的課題の解決を拡大する。構造改革プログラムの推進により、主力の制御機器事業を成長軌道に乗せる。』という話がされています。
知財に関しては、『最高技術責任者（CTO）がIXI(イノベーション推進本部)や技術・知財本部と事業部の橋渡し役となり、CTOの権限で人事異動を行なう仕組みがあります。』というところにしか出てきませんが、全社に根付いている技術経営とROIC経営の両輪でイノベーションという考え方がわかりやすく説明されています。

In the "Leaders Future Strategy Interview" published by Nikkei ESG on March 11, 2025, titled "Omron’s Executive Director Tsutomu Igaki: 'Uniting the Company Toward Innovation,'" Mr. Igaki discusses clearly how Omron implements its corporate philosophy through the dual management pillars of "technology management" and "ROIC management," aiming to expand solutions to social issues through business activities. By promoting structural reform programs, the company is placing its mainstay control equipment business on a growth trajectory.
Regarding intellectual property, the article only briefly mentions: "The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) serves as a bridge between the Innovation Promotion Headquarters (IXI), the Technology & Intellectual Property Headquarters, and various business divisions, with authority vested in the CTO to carry out personnel transfers." Nevertheless, the concept of driving innovation through the dual management pillars of technology and ROIC, deeply rooted across the entire company, is clearly and understandably explained.
