3月18日にGoogleのGemini に「Canvas」というAIと会話しながら文章やコードを構築していく機能が追加され、3月19日にGoogle の NotebookLM にユーザーがアップロードした資料の内容や概念の関連性を分析し枝分かれした図として視覚化してくれる「マインドマップ機能」が追加され、3月25日に最もインテリジェントな AI モデルとして、Gemini 2.5がリリースされました。Googleの生成AIへの取組みには迫力すら感じます。
Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimentalは、特に高度な推論能力とコーディング能力を発揮するということで、様々なベンチマークで最先端の性能を発揮し、LMArenaでも圧倒的な差をつけて 1 位にデビューしました。
評判も良いようなので、早速いろいろ試したいと思っています。

Gemini 2.5 – The Most Intelligent AI Model

On March 18, Google added a feature called "Canvas" to Gemini, which allows users to build text and code while conversing with an AI. Then, on March 19, Google’s NotebookLM received a “Mind Map” function that analyzes the content of materials uploaded by users and visualizes the relationships between concepts as branching diagrams. Finally, on March 25, Gemini 2.5 was released as the most intelligent AI model. Google’s efforts in generative AI are truly impressive.
Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental, in particular, is noted for its advanced reasoning and coding capabilities. It has demonstrated cutting-edge performance on various benchmarks and debuted in first place on LMArena with an overwhelming lead.
Since it has been receiving positive reviews, I’m eager to try it out right away.
