日本版AIセーフティ・インスティテュート（AISI）

独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）の内部組織として2024年2月に発足したAIセーフティ・インスティテュート（Japan AISI、所長：村上明子）は、最先端のフロンティアAIモデルにおける自律的サイバー攻撃能力の検証を本格化させています。
2026年10月、AISIは情報発信プラットフォームを本格始動させると同時に、商用最上位モデル「Claude Opus 4.8」および有力オープンウェイトモデル「GLM-5.2」を対象とした一連のサイバー能力検証レポート（AI検証ノート）を公表しました。この日本版AISIの本格始動について、生成AIに徹底的に調べさせましたのでご参照ください。

Japan’s AI Safety Institute (AISI)
The AI Safety Institute (Japan AISI) was established in February 2024 as an internal unit of the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA), an independent administrative agency in Japan. Led by Director Akiko Murakami, it is now stepping up its assessments of the autonomous cyberattack capabilities of frontier AI models.
In October 2026, AISI brought its information-sharing platform into full operation and released a series of cyber capability assessment reports (“AI Evaluation Notes”) examining the top-tier commercial model Claude Opus 4.8 and the leading open-weight model GLM-5.2.
