医薬品特許においては、AIに関する情報をどの程度開示すべきか、またAIが発明にどの程度関与しているかについて新たな議論が巻き起こっています。特にAIが実験データや予測データに貢献する場合、特許出願においてAIの役割（もしあれば）を明示的に詳細に記述する必要があると主張する人もいます。
