「JPDSフェア2025 東京・九州開催」では、AI検索作成、AI辞書、AI要約、AIクレーム構成要素といった生成AI活用機能が説明され、生成AIが着実に実装されていきそうなことがわかりました。
「ルミカのJP-NET共有ルームの運用事例と知財活動の取り組み」、「マルハニチロからUmiosへ！ ～マルハニチロの知財活動紹介～」では、マルハニチロにおけるゼロからの知財部門立ち上げの経緯と経営企画部内に設置された知財部門としての気づき、そして「Umios株式会社」への社名変更プロジェクトに知財部門として参画したなかでの経験が話され、「ゼロからの知財部門立ち上げの経緯」が印象的でした。

At the “JPDS Fair 2025 Tokyo & Kyushu,” new generative AI features such as AI-based search generation, AI dictionaries, AI summarization, and AI claim component analysis were introduced, indicating that generative AI is steadily being implemented into practical tools.
In the sessions “Lumica’s JP-NET Shared Room Operational Case and IP Activities” and “From Maruha Nichiro to Umios! – Introduction to Maruha Nichiro’s IP Activities”, speakers shared insights into the process of establishing an intellectual property department from scratch at Maruha Nichiro, the awareness gained from operating it within the corporate planning division, and their experiences participating in the company name change project to “Umios Co., Ltd.” The story of “building an IP department from zero” was particularly memorable.
