Anthropicは2026年6月4日、AIがAI自身の開発を担う「Recursive Self-Improvement」（RSI:再帰的自己改良）に関する考察と社内データをまとめたブログ記事「When AI builds itself」を公開しました。同社は、開発工程のコードの8割以上をAIが記述し、サイバーセキュリティ上の重大な脆弱性を瞬時に発見する現状を、人類の制御を離れる前兆として警告しています。

On June 4, 2026, Anthropic published a blog post titled “When AI builds itself,” presenting its views and internal data on Recursive Self-Improvement — RSI — in which AI takes on the development of AI itself. The company warns that the current situation, in which AI writes more than 80% of the code in the development process and can instantly identify serious cybersecurity vulnerabilities, may be a warning sign that AI is beginning to move beyond human control.
