「職場にあふれる生成AIツールと「シャドーAI」の実態」という記事を読みました。
ChatGPTなど生成AIが職場に急速に浸透。便利さの一方で、IT部門の承認なしに使われる「シャドーAI」が情報漏えいや規制違反を招くリスクが浮上しています。大手メーカーで機密情報が生成AI経由で流出、正式に生成AI利用を認めた後に起きた点が注目されていること、外部AIモデルに不正コードが仕込まれる「AIサプライチェーンリスク」も顕在化していること、自律型エージェントAIは効率化に有用だが、悪用されれば企業ネットワークの脆弱性につながることなどが主なリスクということです。
従来のチェックリスト型ガバナンスでは限界で、各企業はリアルタイム監視・挙動検知・サプライチェーン可視化といった新手法を取り入れて対策しているということです。

The Shadow of Generative AI Tools Flooding the Workplace
I read an article titled “The Reality of Generative AI Tools Flooding the Workplace and ‘Shadow AI’.”
Generative AI such as ChatGPT is rapidly spreading in workplaces. While convenient, “shadow AI” used without IT department approval poses risks of information leaks and regulatory violations. Notable points include cases where confidential information at major manufacturers leaked via generative AI after official approval for AI use had been granted, the emergence of “AI supply chain risks” where malicious code is embedded in external AI models, and the fact that while autonomous agent AI can enhance efficiency, if abused it could expose vulnerabilities in corporate networks.
Conventional checklist-based governance has its limits, and companies are introducing new approaches such as real-time monitoring, behavior detection, and supply-chain visualization.
