Generative AI capabilities are improving rapidly. To gauge its performance through critiques of expert commentary, I asked generative AI to critically review the report “Examining the Applicability of Generative AI to Patent Practice,” written by the Generative AI Working Group of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association’s FY2024 Patent Committee and published in the July 2026 issue of the monthly journal Patent.
