生成ＡＩ関連の特許出願、中国が７割

世界知的所有権機関（WIPO）が７月3日に発表した報告書「Patent Landscape Report - Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)」によると、2014-23年の10年間の世界の生成AI関連の特許出願件数は5万4000件に達し、国別では、中国の特許出願件数が3万8000件以上で1位、２位は米国の６２７６件、３位は韓国の４１５５件、4位は日本の３４０９件、５位はインドの１３５０件でした。また、出願のうち、25％以上が昨年に出願したものでした。

China accounts for 70% of patent applications related to generative AI
 
According to the "Patent Landscape Report - Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)" published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on July 3, the number of patent applications related to generative AI in the world during the 10 years from 2014 to 2011 reached 50,000-4000. By country, China ranked first with over 38,000 patent applications, followed by the United States with 6,276, South Korea with 4,155, Japan with 3,409, and India with 1,350. In addition, more than 25% of the applications were filed in the last year.
