書籍「生成AIによる知財業務効率化と活用の手引き」

2026年1月26日に、株式会社情報機構から書籍「生成AIによる知財業務効率化と活用の手引き」が出版されました。
この書籍は、生成AIの登場により、知的財産業務は大きな転換点を迎えている中、「業務効率化に使えるのか？」「法的リスクはどうクリアするのか？」「他社はどう動いているのか？」――そんな知財実務家・研究開発者が抱える疑問に対し、総勢30名の専門家（弁理士、弁護士、企業知財部、AIベンダー）が、具体的な「解」を提示する書籍として、生成AIの「誇張された可能性」ではなく、特許調査や明細書作成、翻訳といった「実務の現場でどう使えるか」に焦点を当てた、非常に実践的な内容です。
昨年10月現在の原稿なので、Gemini 3 proやChatGPT 5.2などの最新モデルの情報がありませんが、基本的な考え方や実践例が参考になります。

Book: A Practical Guide to Improving Efficiency and Utilizing Generative AI in Intellectual Property Operations
On January 26, 2026, Information Mechanism Co., Ltd. published the book A Practical Guide to Improving Efficiency and Utilizing Generative AI in Intellectual Property Operations.
As the emergence of generative AI marks a major turning point for intellectual property work, this book addresses the key questions faced by IP practitioners and R&D professionals—such as: Can generative AI really be used for operational efficiency? How can legal risks be managed? What are other companies doing?
In response to these concerns, a total of 30 experts—including patent attorneys, lawyers, corporate IP professionals, and AI vendors—offer concrete “answers.”
Rather than focusing on the “hyped potential” of generative AI, the book takes a highly practical approach, concentrating on how generative AI can actually be used in real-world practice, such as patent searches, patent specification drafting, and translation.
Because the manuscript was finalized as of October last year, it does not cover the latest models such as Gemini 3 Pro or ChatGPT 5.2. However, the fundamental concepts and practical case studies presented remain highly instructive.
