弁理士によるAIツールの適切な利活用を促すためのガイドライン

1月29日に開かれた産業構造審議会 知的財産分科会 第20回弁理士制度小委員会の議事要旨によれば、日本弁理士会において、弁理士によるAIツールの適切な利活用を促すためのガイドラインを作成することが決まったようです。
特許事務所に所属する弁理士の人数は10年後に最大で約1400人減少するとの予測で、弁理士不足の対策として期待されるのが生成AIの活用ということのようです。

Guidelines for Promoting Proper Utilization of AI Tools by Patent Attorneys
 
According to the minutes of the 20th Subcommittee on the Patent Attorney System of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Industrial Structure Council held on January 29, it seems that the Japan Patent Attorneys Association has decided to create guidelines for promoting the proper utilization of AI tools by patent attorneys. It is expected that the use of generative AI will be a countermeasure against the predicted shortage of patent attorneys, with an estimated reduction of about 1,400 patent attorneys working in patent offices in 10 years.
