企業の知財部門における生成AI活用推進プラン「レベル1：探索・理解フェーズ」「レベル2：業務適用フェーズ」に続き、企業の知財部門における生成AI活用推進プラン「レベル3：戦略統合フェーズ」の詳細を記しました。
レベル2では、セキュアな自社専用環境で秘密情報を活用し、出願戦略シミュレーションや競合分析など知財部門の業務効率化と価値創出を目指しますが、さらに上位のレベル3では、AI活用を全社規模に拡張し、知財×経営×技術の三位一体による戦略的意思決定基盤を構築することに焦点を当てています。
具体的なユースケースとして、研究開発テーマの投資ROI評価、M&A候補企業の戦略的整合性評価、契約・訴訟リスクの統合管理など、部門横断的な活用方法と、それによって得られる効率化と高付加価値の成果指標を詳細に示しています。
そして、次は「レベル4：価値創造フェーズ」です。

Following the “Level 1: Exploration & Understanding Phase” and “Level 2: Operational Application Phase” of the generative AI utilization promotion plan in corporate intellectual property departments, this document details the “Level 3: Strategic Integration Phase.”
In Level 2, the focus is on leveraging confidential information within a secure, company-dedicated environment to achieve efficiency and value creation in IP operations, such as filing strategy simulations and competitive analysis. At the higher Level 3, the scope of AI utilization expands to the entire company, with an emphasis on establishing a strategic decision-making platform that unifies intellectual property, management, and technology.
Specific use cases include ROI evaluation of R&D themes, assessment of strategic alignment in potential M&A targets, and integrated management of contract and litigation risks. The plan provides detailed cross-departmental applications as well as efficiency and high-value performance indicators that can be achieved through this approach.
And next comes “Level 4: Value Creation Phase.”
