企業のリーダー人材向けオンラインカンファレンス「VALUE DESIGN SUMMIT 2024　生成Alと企業価値創造」（株式会社NEWh、2024年11月29日開催）で、株式会社レゾナックホールディングス執行役員最高技術責任者　福島雅人氏が「共創型研究開発により価値を創造―生成AIを活用し、共創型で課題解決」という講演を行いました。

異なる文化の2つの大会社が合併して共創する状況において、生成AIが果たす役割はかなり大きいようです。

Co-creative R&D with Resonac's generative AI

At the online conference "VALUE DESIGN SUMMIT 2024: Generative AI and Corporate Value Creation" (hosted by NEWh, Inc. on November 29, 2024), Masato Fukushima, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Officer of Resonac Holdings, Inc. gave a presentation entitled "Creating Value through Collaborative R&D: Using Generative AI to Solve Problems through Collaborative Creation".
The contents were as follows,
1. Transforming into a "World Class Functional Chemicals Manufacturer".
2. Contributing to the development of AI semiconductors through semiconductor material development
3. Use generative AI to solve internal company problems through co-creation

Resonac is a new "functional chemical manufacturer" founded in 2023 as a startup with 24,000 employees through the merger of Showa Denko and Hitachi Chemical, and its source of value is co-creation (matching), it aims to be a "co-creation-type chemical company", and its raison d'etre is "to transform society with the power of chemistry".
In a situation where two large companies from different cultures are merging and co-creating, it seems that the role of generative AI is quite significant.
