生成AI時代の新たな標準業務フロー構築をめざす「サマリア」

特許読解支援AIアシスタント「サマリア」は、特許文書の読解と分析業務を支援するために開発されたAIアシスタントで、主な機能は、読解・要約支援機能、スクリーニング支援機能、分類支援（タグ付け）機能、発明評価支援機能で、従来は専門家が多くの時間を費やしていた定型業務を自動化・効率化し、作業時間を最大80%削減できるとされています。
さらに、2024年5月には「拒絶対応支援ワークフロー」が、2025年9月には「生成AIによる分類機能」とその中核をなす「対話型レポート機能」がリリースされ、サマリアが単なる「読解支援ツール」から「生成AI時代の新たな標準業務フロー」を構築するというビジョンへ向かい確実に進化していることがわかります。
個人的には、「構造化抄録」、「拒絶対応支援ワークフロー」、独自の分類付与結果をクロス集計した「課題×解決手段マトリクス」を重宝しています。

“SUMMARIA” Aiming to Establish a New Standard Workflow in the Generative AI Era
The patent-reading support AI assistant “SUMMARIA” was developed to assist in the reading and analysis of patent documents. Its main functions include reading and summarization support, screening support, classification support (tagging), and invention evaluation support. By automating and streamlining routine tasks that previously required experts to spend a significant amount of time, SUMMARIA is said to reduce working hours by up to 80%.
Furthermore, in May 2024, a “Rejection Response Support Workflow” was released, and in September 2025, the “Generative AI-powered Classification Function” along with its core “Interactive Report Function” was launched. These developments demonstrate that SUMMARIA is steadily evolving from being a mere “reading support tool” into realizing its vision of building a “new standard workflow for the generative AI era.”
Personally, I find the “structured abstract,” the Rejection Response Support Workflow, and the “Issue × Solution Matrix,” which cross-tabulates unique classification results, particularly useful.
