パテント・インテグレーション株式会社からのPatentfield株式会社に対する生成AI技術に関連する特許権侵害訴訟提起した旨の発表に対するPatentfield株式会社のコメントがホームページにアップされていました。
「当社におきましては、現時点で訴状を受領していない状況であり、相手方の具体的な主張内容および侵害を主張されている特許権の詳細につきまして、確認するに至っておりません。
訴状受領後、直ちに内容を精査の上、適切な法的対応を進めてまいる所存でございます。」とのことです。
知財分野での生成AI活用の阻害になることは避けていただきたいと思います。

A comment from Patentfield Inc. in response to the announcement by Patent Integration Co., Ltd. regarding the filing of a patent infringement lawsuit against Patentfield Inc. concerning generative AI technology has been posted on their website.
According to Patentfield's statement:
"We have not yet received the complaint at this time and have not been able to confirm the specific claims of the other party or the details of the patent rights alleged to be infringed. Upon receiving the complaint, we will promptly examine its contents thoroughly and proceed with appropriate legal measures."
It is hoped that this matter will not hinder the use of generative AI in the field of intellectual property.
