AGCは、自社向け生成AI活用環境「ChatAGC」の導入により、2024年１月～12月の期間で、業務時間11万時間以上の創出に相当する効果があったことを、自社の調査で確認し公表しました。
従業員にChatAGCが利用された主な業務は、「アイデア創出」「文書要約」「インサイト抽出」「文章チェック」「文書分類」「文章生成」「機械翻訳」「コード生成」「情報検索」「その他」となっています。
また、社内データを活用した事例として、「お客様や市場のニーズの情報から、新しい事業のアイデアを創出」が挙げられています。

AGC Creates Over 110,000 Hours of Productivity in 2024 Using Generative AI
 
AGC announced the results of an internal study confirming that the implementation of their generative AI platform, "ChatAGC," contributed to productivity gains equivalent to over 110,000 working hours from January to December 2024.
Employees primarily used ChatAGC for tasks such as idea generation, document summarization, insight extraction, text proofreading, document classification, content creation, machine translation, code generation, information retrieval, among other purposes.
Additionally, as an example of leveraging internal data, the company highlighted "generating ideas for new business ventures based on customer and market needs."
