キヤノンは「階層別研修」と「徹底したOJT」を軸に、全社員に自律的な知財意識を浸透させ、強固な特許網で技術を独占・保護する体制を構築しています。対して花王は、知財部門が研究現場に密着する「伴走型支援」を特徴とし、技術をブランド価値や事業戦略へ昇華させる戦略的思考の育成に重点を置いています。両社とも生成AIの活用やグローバル対応を進めていますが、そのアプローチは各々の事業特性や組織風土に最適化されています。
キヤノンの知財教育と花王の知財教育を生成AIに深掘りさせました。さらに、結果をNotebookLMでインフォグラフィック、スライド資料にさせました。

Intellectual Property Education at Canon and Kao
Canon has established a system centered on “level-based training” and thorough on-the-job training (OJT), instilling autonomous IP awareness across all employees and building a robust patent portfolio to secure and protect its technologies. In contrast, Kao emphasizes “accompaniment-style support,” in which the IP department works closely alongside R&D teams, focusing on cultivating strategic thinking that elevates technology into brand value and business strategy. While both companies are advancing the use of generative AI and strengthening their global capabilities, their approaches are optimized to align with their respective business characteristics and organizational cultures.
I asked generative AI to conduct an in-depth analysis of intellectual property education at Canon and Kao. Furthermore, the results were transformed into infographics and presentation slides using NotebookLM.
