企業価値において無形資産が占める割合が激増する中、知的財産を経営資源として価値を可視化する手法が求められ、検討が進められています。
同一技術分野で引用の上位5%に入る「重要特許（MPS）」が、短期的な収益よりも将来の企業価値（株価）と強く相関するという実証研究の結果、世界的な指標となっているPatent Asset Index、日本独自のYKS手法など、特許の質や独占力を測る多様なKPIが提案されています。
知財評価と企業業績の連動に関して生成AIに深掘分析させました。さらに、結果をNotebookLMでインフォグラフィック、スライド資料にさせました。

Linking Intellectual Property Valuation with Corporate Performance
As intangible assets now account for an ever-increasing share of corporate value, there is growing demand for methodologies that visualize and quantify intellectual property as a strategic management resource, and active discussion is underway in this area.
Empirical research has shown that “Important Patents (MPS),” defined as patents ranked in the top 5% by citation frequency within the same technical field, correlate more strongly with future corporate value (stock prices) than with short-term earnings. In response, a variety of KPIs for measuring patent quality and exclusivity have been proposed, including globally recognized indicators such as the Patent Asset Index, as well as Japan-specific approaches such as the YKS method.
I asked generative AI to conduct an in-depth analysis of the relationship between intellectual property valuation and corporate performance. The results were further converted into infographics and slide materials using NotebookLM.
