Don't Write Prompts, Write Loops
On the YouTube channel of Takahiro Anno—an AI engineer, entrepreneur, science fiction author, and founder of the political party Team Mirai—a clear and accessible video titled "Don't Write Prompts: Write Loops – A Gentle Introduction to Loop Engineering / From 'Human in the Loop' to 'Human on the Loop' / Building an Environment Where AI Can Work" was recently released.
The video explains how the cutting edge of AI utilization is shifting from prompt engineering to loop engineering. It argues that the key transition is moving away from "Human in the Loop," where humans directly instruct AI during each step of the workflow, toward "Human on the Loop," where humans design, manage, and supervise autonomous AI processes from the outside.
