大規模言語モデルが「人間レベルの知恵」を持つことはない

メタのAI部門のトップが5月22日に公開されたフィナンシャル・タイムズによるインタビューの中で、ChatGPTやGemini、Llamaのような生成AIツールの基盤となる大規模言語モデル（LLM）は、「人間のレベルのプランニングや推論に到達することはできない」と語ったようです。

人間と同じレベルのAIは、「ワールド・モデリング」と呼ばれるアプローチに基づく次世代のAIシステムで実現可能と考えているようです。

In an interview by the Financial Times published on May 22, the head of Meta's AI department said that the large-scale language models (LLMs) underlying generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Llama "will never reach human levels of planning and reasoning" He seems to have said.

They believe that the same level of AI as humans can be achieved with next-generation AI systems based on an approach called "world modeling".
