世界知的所有権機関（WIPO）は2026年9月8日、スイス・ジュネーブの本部で「2026世界イノベーション・インデックス（GII）」のイノベーションクラスター・トップ100を発表しました。クラスターの規模ランキングを見ると、中国の「深セン-香港-広州」が2年連続でトップ、2位は「東京-横浜」でした。

Tokyo–Yokohama Ranks Second Among the World’s Innovation Clusters
On September 8, 2026, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) announced the top 100 innovation clusters in its Global Innovation Index (GII) 2026 at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In the ranking by cluster size, China’s Shenzhen–Hong Kong–Guangzhou cluster took the top spot for the second consecutive year, followed by Tokyo–Yokohama in second place.
