クレームで用いられている用語の解釈と明確化

特許庁審判部が公表した「審判実務者研究会報告書2025」における事例研究１テーマ４（特許電気）「クレームで用いられている用語の解釈と明確化」では、以下の３つの論点が議論されました。
論点１：明細書の記載に照らしたクレームの用語の合理的な解釈について
論点２：
明細書の記載に照らしたクレームの用語の合理的な解釈に影響すると思われる留意点について
論点３：クレームの用語が無数の解釈を有しうる事例について

Interpretation and Clarification of Terms Used in Claims
In the case study “Interpretation and Clarification of Terms Used in Claims” (Theme 4: Electrical Inventions) from the Trial Practitioner Study Group Report 2025 published by the Trial and Appeal Department of the Japan Patent Office, the following three issues were discussed:

Issue 1: Reasonable interpretation of claim terms in light of the description in the specification
Issue 2: Key considerations that may affect the reasonable interpretation of claim terms based on the specification
Issue 3: Cases in which claim terms may admit multiple interpretations
