一般社団法人「知財・無形資産ガバナンス協会」(IPIAGA)の設立1周年記念式典が2026年6月9日、開かれました。菊地修理事長は「日本が知財戦略で逆襲を始める年にしよう」と開会のあいさつで述べました。2026 年度 IPIAGA活動ビジョンは、「知財・無形資産ガバナンス：第2ステージへ躍進 ─ 新たな挑戦と実践」であり、知財・無形資産ガバナンスの深耕・実践（2026年改訂コーポレートガバナンスコード(CGC)の新4-1に基づくガバナンスの深耕・実践など）、生成AI活用による知財業務の革新（最新AI技術による知財業務の高度化・効率化による企業の成長戦略への貢献など）、IP-Compass 等による日本の知財戦略執行への貢献（政府・自民党の取り組みに協力、高市政権17戦略分野でIPLを実行など）が柱になります。
企業の成長戦略の中心にIPランドスケープと知財戦略が必要なように、日本の成長戦略の中心にもIPランドスケープと知財戦略が必要です。2026年を日本が知財戦略で逆襲する年にしましょう。

Making 2026 the Year Japan Strikes Back Through Intellectual Property Strategy
The first-anniversary commemorative ceremony of the Intellectual Property and Intangible Asset Governance Association (IPIAGA) was held on June 9, 2026. In his opening remarks, Chairman Osamu Kikuchi declared, “Let us make this the year Japan begins its comeback through intellectual property strategy.”
IPIAGA’s vision for FY2026 is “Intellectual Property and Intangible Asset Governance: Advancing to the Second Stage — New Challenges and Practical Implementation.” The association’s activities will focus on three major pillars:

1. Deepening and implementing intellectual property and intangible asset governance, including practical governance initiatives based on the new Article 4-1 of the revised 2026 Corporate Governance Code (CGC).
2. Transforming intellectual property operations through generative AI, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance the sophistication and efficiency of IP activities and contribute directly to corporate growth strategies.
3. Contributing to the execution of Japan’s national IP strategy through initiatives such as IP-Compass, including cooperation with government and Liberal Democratic Party programs and the implementation of IP Landscape (IPL) activities across the 17 strategic sectors promoted by the Takaichi administration.

Just as IP Landscape and intellectual property strategy must be at the core of corporate growth strategies, they must also be placed at the center of Japan’s national growth strategy.
Let us make 2026 the year Japan launches its comeback through intellectual property strategy.
