エナジーウィズ株式会社は蓄電池専業メーカーとして2021 年に昭和電工マテリアルズの事業部門を分離・独立させる形で設立された会社で、従業員は1,028 名（2025 年3 月末時点）で、自動車・産業向けバッテリーを中心に国内外で事業を拡大しています。
2024年から生成AIの活用を検討し、知財部門で月間120時間/人の業務削減を達成したということですが、生成AIを「思考のパートナー」として位置づけ、特許戦略立案などのより高度で創造的な業務に活用することで、知財業務の「質」そのものを飛躍的に向上させた点にこそ、最大の意義が見出されます。
