生成AIで変わる研究開発の現場

生成AIの普及により、研究開発の現場は従来の「作業の実行」から「高度な意思決定」へとその重心を移しつつあります。
AIが予測コストを劇的に下げることで、人間にはAIの提案を精査し責任を持って選ぶ「判断」の価値が相対的に高まるという構造的変化の一方で、若手のスキルの空洞化や偶発的な発見の喪失といった負の側面、さらには日本特有の「根回し」文化との衝突といった組織的課題も生じています。
これらの点を生成AIに深堀りさせました。さらに、報告結果をNotebookLMでインフォグラフィック、スライド資料にさせました。

How Generative AI Is Transforming the R&D Workplace
With the widespread adoption of generative AI, the center of gravity in research and development is gradually shifting from the execution of routine tasks to higher-level decision-making.
As AI dramatically lowers the cost of prediction, a structural change is occurring in which the value of human judgment—carefully evaluating AI-generated proposals and making accountable choices—becomes relatively more important.
At the same time, however, several negative aspects and organizational challenges are emerging. These include the hollowing out of skills among younger researchers, the potential loss of serendipitous discoveries, and friction with organizational practices unique to Japan, such as the culture of nemawashi (informal consensus-building).
I asked generative AI to explore these issues in depth. In addition, the results of this analysis were turned into infographics and slide materials using NotebookLM.
