2025年12月8日付け日経ビジネス電子版「『フィジカルAI』を特許分析　お家芸ロボティクスで4位に沈む日本」を読みました。
「フィジカルAI 」はAIとロボティクスの融合であり、かつて日本は先行していたが、現在の勢いは商業化の米国、政府主導の中国であるというものです。
フィジカルAI における日本の勝ち筋を生成AI（Deep Research）に調査させまとめさせました。報告内容をNotebookLMでインフォグラフィックとスライド資料にしました。これらの報告書等をGemini 3 Deep Thinkに読ませ、問題点を指摘させました。生成AIのDeep Researchはよくまとまっているものの、何かしっくりこない感覚だったのが、Gemini 3 Deep Thinkの指摘でかなりすっきりしました。

Japan’s Winning Strategy in Physical AI
I read the December 8, 2025 Nikkei Business online article titled “Patent Analysis of ‘Physical AI’: Japan Falls to Fourth Place Despite Its Traditional Strength in Robotics.”
“Physical AI” refers to the fusion of AI and robotics. While Japan once led this field, the current momentum lies with the U.S., which excels in commercialization, and China, where government-driven initiatives are accelerating progress.
I asked a generative AI (Deep Research) to investigate what Japan’s winning strategy in Physical AI might be and had it compile the findings. I then used NotebookLM to turn the report into an infographic and slide deck. After that, I had Gemini 3 Deep Think review these materials and point out issues. Although the Deep Research analysis was well-organized, something felt slightly off—but Gemini 3 Deep Think’s comments clarified those concerns considerably.
