Claude 3.5 Sonnet(New)にプロンプト入力でPCを操作させる機能

Claudeが、10月23日、アップグレードされたClaude 3.5 Sonnet(New)と新しいモデルのClaude 3.5 Haiku を発表しました。
アップグレードされたClaude 3.5 Sonnet(New)は、コーディング能力、ツール使用能力、推論能力、計画と問題解決能力などがそれぞれ向上、ベンチマーク結果が公開されています。さらに、画期的な新機能として、プロンプト入力でClaudeにPCを操作させる「Computer Use」機能がβ版で追加されています。現段階ではまだ実験段階であり、扱いにくく、エラーが発生しやすい場合がありますが、開発者からのフィードバックを得るために「Computer Use」機能を早期にリリースしているとのこと、機能が急速に改善されることを期待しています。
また、軽量モデルのClaude 3.5 Haiku は、多くの評価において、以前の最大モデルである Claude 3 Opus のパフォーマンスに匹敵し、前世代のClaude 3 Haiku と同じコストと速度を実現しているということです。
激しい競争が続くことで、確実に機能がアップされてきており、新機能の開発競争も続いています。どこが主導権を握ることに成るかまだまだわかりません。

Claude 3.5 Sonnet (New) Adds PC Operation Feature via Prompt Input
 
On October 23, Claude announced the upgraded Claude 3.5 Sonnet (New) and a new model, Claude 3.5 Haiku.
The upgraded Claude 3.5 Sonnet (New) boasts improvements in coding abilities, tool usage, reasoning capabilities, planning, and problem-solving skills, with benchmark results now available. Additionally, a groundbreaking new feature, "Computer Use," which allows users to operate a PC via prompt input, has been introduced in beta. While still experimental, prone to errors, and difficult to handle at this stage, the feature was released early to gather feedback from developers, with expectations of rapid improvements.
Meanwhile, the lightweight model Claude 3.5 Haiku is said to match the performance of the previous top model, Claude 3 Opus, in many evaluations, while maintaining the same cost and speed as the previous generation Claude 3 Haiku.
With fierce competition ongoing, features are being consistently upgraded, and the race to develop new features continues. It’s still uncertain who will take the lead in this competition.
