知財実務情報Lab.が1月15日に開催したセミナー「ChatGPTを使って中間対応案を検討する」（Hasegawa弁理士事務所 長谷川寛 弁理士）は、248名の方が参加したとのことです。関心の高さが伺えます。

国によって、新規性、進歩性、記載要件等に違いがあるものの、ChatGPTは特許出願番号によって自動的にその国のものだと判断し対応してくれていると勝手に思い込んでいましたが、どうもそうではないらしいです。この国の法律に沿ってとか、その国の審査基準に沿ってとか、その国の実務に沿ってとか、プロンプトで入れるか、ChatGPTであればProjectsでその国に関する必要な資料を読み込ませておいた方が良さそうなことがわかりました。

Seminar "Using ChatGPT to Develop Intermediate Response Proposals"
 
The seminar titled "Using ChatGPT to Develop Intermediate Response Proposals", hosted by the Intellectual Property Practice Information Lab. on January 15, was led by Patent Attorney Hiroshi Hasegawa from the Hasegawa Patent Office. The event drew significant interest, with 248 participants attending.

It will remain accessible for approximately one week. The recording includes a live demonstration of how intermediate response proposals are actually created, making it a valuable resource. 
​Although there are differences between countries in terms of novelty, inventive step, description requirements, etc., I had assumed that ChatGPT would automatically determine the country based on the patent application number and respond accordingly, but it seems that this is not the case. I learned that it is better to enter prompts such as "according to the laws of this country", "according to the examination standards of this country", or "according to the practices of this country", or to let ChatGPT read the necessary materials related to that country in Projects.
