検索特化型生成AIの使い使い比べ

Perplexity、Genspark、Felo AIなどが検索特化型の生成AIとして台頭、Google一強だった従来型検索エンジンにとって代わる勢いでしたが、OpenAIのChatGPT Search、Googleの「Gemini 1.5 Pro with Deep Research」が登場し、非常に速いスピードで検索特化型生成AIの進化が進んでいます。
個人的には、「Gemini 1.5 Pro with Deep Research」が、マルチステップ・リサーチ、大規模コンテキスト、ソースリンク付きレポート、チャット機能を備え、複雑な質問に対して自動で複数のサブトピックに分割して調査を実施し、Googleドキュメントで編集可能な包括的なレポートを自動生成してくれ、Perplexity、Genspark、Felo AIよりレベルの高い検索ができ、出典が明確な包括的なレポートが出来てとても良いと思っています。
他の検索特化型生成AIも、それぞれの特長があり、短期間で新機能が追加されていますので、当面は、使い比べながら調べる状況が続きそうです。
 
 
 
Comparison of Search-Specialized Generative AI
 
Perplexity, Genspark, and Felo AI have emerged as leading search-specialized generative AI tools, posing a strong challenge to traditional search engines dominated by Google. However, with the introduction of OpenAI's ChatGPT Search and Google's "Gemini 1.5 Pro with Deep Research," the evolution of search-specialized generative AI is progressing at an exceptionally rapid pace.
From my perspective, "Gemini 1.5 Pro with Deep Research" stands out for its advanced features, including multi-step research, large-scale context handling, source-linked reports, and chat functionality. It automatically breaks down complex questions into multiple subtopics for investigation and generates comprehensive reports—editable in Google Docs—with clear citations. This makes it superior to Perplexity, Genspark, and Felo AI, offering a higher level of search capability and producing comprehensive, well-sourced reports.
That said, other search-specialized generative AI tools also have their unique strengths, with new features being added in quick succession. For the time being, it seems the situation will involve trying out and comparing different tools to find the best fit for various research needs.
