・5年後、１０年後に向けてどう手を打つかが大きな課題
・高品質な医薬品を製造するためにAIが求められる
・トップダウンの発想でITを使わせるのはダメ
というのが柱です。
下記のような言葉には、とても共感します。

「ネットワーク時代にトップダウンのやり方や発想でITを使わせるのではダメ」

I read an article in Nikkei CrossTech titled "Expectations for AI from Research and Development to Production Sites, by Chairman Yamada of Rohto Pharmaceutical" (Mr. Kunio Yamada, Chairman of Rohto Pharmaceutical). The main points are:
 
The big challenge is how to act with an eye toward five and ten years from now.
AI is demanded for the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals.
Using IT with a top-down approach is not the way to go.
 
I deeply agree with the following statements:
"This AI boom is the real deal. In the field of research and development, it can be used for tasks that traditionally required manual labor, such as interpreting vast amounts of data related to patents and intellectual property. This could significantly shorten the time needed to develop patent strategies." "The use of data extends to paying attention to patient treatment information." "To effectively utilize medical data, a new company was established in 2023 in collaboration with Fujita Health University, which is operated by Fujita Educational Institution."
"In the future, manufacturing in factories will become intellectual labor." "Mastering AI will become necessary for the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals." "In terms of improving the productivity of white-collar workers, utilizing IT will become a very useful tool."
"The nature of work will evolve through generative AI." "Tasks that traditionally required outsourcing, such as designing product packaging or creating advertising creatives, can now be advanced by ourselves."
"In the network era, using IT with a top-down approach or mindset is not the way to go."
