特許庁 特許出願技術動向調査の調査テーマを募集

特許庁は、7月22日、毎年行っている「特許出願技術動向調査」の調査テーマ（分野別、ニーズ即応型）のテーマ募集を開始しました。この特許出願技術動向調査は、最近の技術動向を概観するときに非常に助かります。
分野別特許出願技術動向調査では、令和6年度は以下のテーマの調査を予定しているということです。
（一般）ペロブスカイト太陽電池関連技術
（一般）偏光板関連技術
（機械）可燃性冷媒を用いたシステム（漏洩対策、圧縮機の制御等）
（化学）mRNA医薬
（電気・電子）メタバース時代に向けた音声・音楽処理
令和5年度は、下記5テーマで、結果概要がHPに公開されています。
（一般）パッシブZEH・ZEB
（機械）ドローン
（化学）全固体電池
（電気・電子）ヘルスケアインフォマティクス
（分野横断）量子計算機関連技術
ニーズ即応型技術動向調査では、社会的関心が高い技術分野について、特許庁内外のニーズに即応する形で、特許出願動向、市場動向等を短期間で簡易的に調査していますが、令和5年度は調査を実施していないということです。
令和4年度は、下記3件。
（機械）ハンドルバーを有する、電動二輪車、電動三輪車等の超小型電動車両
（電気・電子）化合物半導体
（機械・化学）次世代冷媒・冷媒にプロパンを含む空調等機器
令和3年度は、下記5件。
（一般）リピドミクス
（一般）イムノクロマト法
（化学）培養肉関連技術
（電気・電子）AI関係技術―演繹と帰納の融合―
（電気・電子）ヘルスケア情報システム

Japan Patent Office: Call for Survey Themes on Patent Application Technology Trends
 
On July 22, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) announced the start of its annual call for themes for the "Patent Application Technology Trends Survey" (categorized and responsive to needs). This survey is highly useful for providing an overview of recent technological trends.
The planned themes for the categorized Patent Application Technology Trends Survey for fiscal year 2024 are as follows:

• (General) Perovskite solar cell-related technologies
• (General) Polarizing plate-related technologies
• (Mechanical) Systems using flammable refrigerants (leak prevention, compressor control, etc.)
• (Chemical) mRNA pharmaceuticals
• (Electrical/Electronic) Voice and music processing for the Metaverse era

For fiscal year 2023, summaries of the results for the following five themes are available on the website:

• (General) Passive Zero Energy Houses (ZEH) and Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB)
• (Mechanical) Drones
• (Chemical) All-solid-state batteries
• (Electrical/Electronic) Healthcare informatics
• (Cross-disciplinary) Quantum computer-related technologies

 
The responsive needs-based technology trends survey conducts quick, simplified surveys on patent application trends, market trends, etc., in technology fields of high social interest, responding to needs both inside and outside the JPO. However, no surveys were conducted for fiscal year 2023.
For fiscal year 2022, the following three surveys were conducted:

• (Mechanical) Ultra-compact electric vehicles, such as electric motorcycles and electric tricycles, with handlebars
• (Electrical/Electronic) Compound semiconductors
• (Mechanical/Chemical) Next-generation refrigerants, including air conditioning equipment using propane

For fiscal year 2021, the following five surveys were conducted:

• (General) Lipidomics
• (General) Immunochromatography methods
• (Chemical) Cultured meat-related technologies
• (Electrical/Electronic) AI-related technologies: Fusion of deduction and induction
• (Electrical/Electronic) Healthcare information systems
