花王の事例が88頁(388頁～475頁)、コマツの事例が65頁(476頁～540頁)触れられており、YouTubeで視聴できるアーカイブ動画では、2024/10/19の「知的財産マネジメント研究会（Smips）」第246回講演で花王の事例が、2024/10/24の（第213回）知財実務オンラインでコマツの事例が多く取り上げられました。

Patent Information For Victory

On September 30, the book Patent Information For Victory: Unlocking the “Future” of Companies through Intellectual Property! (Author: Takao Kusuura, 573 pages) was published, introducing a new success formula for stock investments using patent information. I took the opportunity to read the book and watch its related presentations during travel for a business trip to Kyoto and in my spare time before and after the trip. The information was truly impressive in volume and depth.
The book highlights case studies on Kao Corporation over 88 pages (pages 388–475) and Komatsu Ltd. over 65 pages (pages 476–540). These case studies were extensively covered in archived videos available on YouTube: the Kao case was discussed during the 246th session of the Intellectual Property Management Research Group (Smips) on October 19, 2024, in a lecture lasting approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes, while the Komatsu case was featured in the 213th session of Intellectual Property Practice Online on October 24, 2024, in a session lasting about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
What sets this work apart is its analysis not only of patent information (technical, human, and rights information) but also of IR data and less formal, behind-the-scenes information.
