特許ライティングマニュアルの紹介

第15回産業⽇本語研究会・シンポジウム「⽣成AIの普及で⽇本語のコミュニケーションがどうかわるのか」（2月２０日）の【第⼆部】産業⽇本語研究会・分科会活動報告「特許ライティングマニュアルの紹介」（塩澤如正氏、日本特許情報機構特許情報研究所調査研究部研究企画課長 兼知財AI研究センター副主幹）では、特許ライティングマニュアルの紹介がおこなわれました。
2018年に改訂されたものですが、久しく忘れていました。下記の７つが骨子です。
１. 短文にする
2. 省略しない
3. 理解しやすい構成にする
4. 横並びの要素の表現を揃える
5. 読点を工夫する
6. 簡潔にする

Introduction to the Patent Writing Manual
 
During the second part of the 15th Industrial Japanese Research Association Symposium titled "How the Proliferation of Generative AI Changes Communication in Japanese" held on February 20th, Mr. Yoshimasa Shiozawa, the Head of Research Planning at the Patent Information Research Institute of the Japan Patent Information Organization and the Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property AI Research Center, presented the Patent Writing Manual. This manual was revised in 2018 but had been largely forgotten until now. The following seven key principles are outlined in the manual:
 
Use short sentences.
Do not omit details.
Structure the content for easy understanding.
Standardize the expression of parallel elements.
Be creative with punctuation.
Keep it concise.
Use paraphrasing.
