2025年にAGI

「2025年にAGIがくる」とOpenAI CEO サム・アルトマン氏が発言したようです。
OpenAIのAI進展の5段階スケール（レベル1：チャットボット、レベル2：推論者、レベル3：エージェント、レベル4：イノベーター、レベル5：組織）で、現在はレベル2だそうですが、レベル３が2025年に実現するだろうというのが共通認識のようで、この段階がAGI（Artificial General Intelligence；人工汎用知能の略、人間のような汎用的な知能を持つ人工知能）と考えているようです。
レベル2相当のOpenAI o1の知能指数が120ということですので、それほど不思議ではないように思います。

AGI in 2025
 
It seems that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has stated, "AGI will arrive in 2025." According to OpenAI’s five-stage scale for AI progression (Level 1: Chatbot, Level 2: Reasoner, Level 3: Agent, Level 4: Innovator, Level 5: Organization), we are currently at Level 2. However, there seems to be a common understanding that Level 3 will be achieved in 2025, and it is believed that this stage represents AGI (Artificial General Intelligence—referring to artificial intelligence with general cognitive abilities like humans). Given that OpenAI’s model o1, which is considered Level 2, has an IQ equivalent to 120, it doesn’t seem all that surprising.
