R&D部門における生成AI活用による新規事業創出

2025年後半の調査によれば、日本の大企業の約4割がすでに業務で生成AIを活用しており、その活用率が特に高い部門は「商品企画・サービス企画」「経営企画・事業企画」「法務・知財・コンプライアンス」「研究開発（R&D）」ということでした。
2025年5月に施行された「AI活用促進法」の後押しもあり、企業は「AIをどう使うか」という段階を超え、「AIと人間がいかに協働して科学的発見（Scientific Discovery）を加速させるか」という実装フェーズに入っています。
R&D部門における生成AI活用による新規事業創出という視点で、生成AIに現状を調査させました。さらに、報告結果をNotebookLMでインフォグラフィック、スライド資料にさせました。

Creating New Businesses Through the Use of Generative AI in R&D Departments
According to surveys conducted in the latter half of 2025, approximately 40% of large Japanese corporations are already using generative AI in their operations. The departments with particularly high adoption rates are Product Planning / Service Planning, Corporate Planning / Business Strategy, Legal / Intellectual Property / Compliance, and Research & Development (R&D).
Supported by the enforcement of the AI Utilization Promotion Act in May 2025, companies have moved beyond the phase of simply asking “how to use AI” and have entered an implementation phase focused on “how AI and humans can collaborate to accelerate scientific discovery.”
From the perspective of creating new businesses through the use of generative AI in R&D departments, I asked generative AI to investigate the current state of affairs. In addition, the findings were transformed into infographics and slide materials using NotebookLM.
