日経BP日経クロステックの4月3日付け記事『古河電工が生んだ新製品の裏に特許分析あり、社長が重視する「無形資産経営」』は、2002年から2013年まで知的財産部で契約や権利業務、係争対応などに携わった古河電工の森平英也社長が「知的資産の活用を強化しなければ、今後日本企業は立ちゆかなくなる」と語っていることを取り上げています。
「知財・無形資産ガバナンスの実践状況調査報告（2024年度）」好事例としても取りあげられている古河電工の無形資産経営、今後の展開が楽しみです。

Patent analysis behind new products created by Furukawa Electric

The Nikkei BP Nikkei Cross-Tech article dated April 3, titled "Patent Analysis Behind New Products Created by Furukawa Electric: The President's Emphasis on Intangible Asset Management," features Furukawa Electric's President Hideya Morihira, who was involved in contracts, rights management, and dispute resolution in the Intellectual Property Department from 2002 to 2013. President Morihira emphasized, "Japanese companies will struggle to survive in the future unless they strengthen the utilization of intellectual assets."
Furukawa Electric's intangible asset management was also highlighted as a best-practice example in the “Intellectual Property and Intangible Asset Governance Survey Report (FY2024).” We look forward to seeing how it develops further.
