科学研究を加速させる生成 AI ツール

NBDC（バイオサイエンスデータベースセンター）が2025年11月18日に主催した、ライフサイエンス分野における生成AIの活用に関する講習会のアーカイブ動画が12月22日に公開されました。講義資料もダウンロードできます。
主なトピックとして、効率的なプロンプト作成や論文執筆時のAI使用に関する倫理的ガイドライン、さらには研究を自動化するAIエージェントの最新動向が紹介されています。特に、数百もの専門的なツールやデータベースを自在に使いこなすBiomniなどの高度なシステムの仕組みや、その信頼性を評価するためのベンチマークの重要性が解説されています。また、プログラミング技術を活用して、研究者が自身のニーズに合わせたカスタムAIエージェントを構築するための具体的な実践方法も提示されています。

Generative AI Tools Accelerating Scientific Research
An archive video of a training workshop on the use of generative AI in the life sciences field, hosted by NBDC (National Bioscience Database Center) on November 18, 2025, was released on December 22. Lecture materials are also available for download.
The main topics include efficient prompt engineering, ethical guidelines for the use of AI in academic writing, and the latest trends in AI agents that automate research processes. In particular, the workshop explains the mechanisms of advanced systems such as Biomni, which can flexibly leverage hundreds of specialized tools and databases, as well as the importance of benchmarks for evaluating their reliability. In addition, concrete practical methods are presented for building custom AI agents tailored to researchers’ specific needs by making use of programming techniques.
