花王・アイスタイル・キリンの「RNA共創コンソーシアム」

2025年10月14日（火）～17日（金）に幕張メッセで開催された「CEATEC AWARD 2025」において、コ・クリエイション（共創）部門賞を受賞した「ビューティ&ヘルスケアを変革する、産業を越えた共創 ― RNAで繋がる花王・アイスタイル・キリンによる未来創出 ―RNA共創コンソーシアム」。
これまでの侵襲的行為（採血や切除等）を伴うRNAの計測が非侵襲で行えるようになり、スマートフォンのカメラによる自撮り画像から、RNA解析データをAIによって分析推定し、その時の肌に応じたコスメを選べるサービスを協業先のアプリに搭載するなど、共創によって生まれたイノベーションです。今後の共創拡大や活用先が広がる可能性も想定され、化粧品メーカーなど業界全体の底上げも期待できるなど、コ・クリエイション部門賞に相応しい技術として高く評価されました。

At CEATEC AWARD 2025, held from October 14 (Tue) to 17 (Fri), 2025 at Makuhari Messe, the project titled
“Transforming Beauty & Healthcare through Cross-Industry Co-Creation — The Future Created by Kao, istyle, and Kirin Connected by RNA: The RNA Co-Creation Consortium”
received the Co-Creation (Collaboration) Award.
This innovation emerged from co-creation efforts that made it possible to measure RNA non-invasively, eliminating the need for traditional invasive procedures such as blood sampling or tissue removal. Using selfie images taken with a smartphone camera, AI analyzes and estimates RNA analysis data to recommend cosmetics suited to the user’s current skin condition. This service is integrated into partner companies’ apps, representing a new frontier in personalized beauty technology.
The initiative has been highly praised as a technology worthy of the Co-Creation Award, as it not only demonstrates successful collaboration across industries but also holds great potential for future expansion of partnerships and applications, contributing to the overall advancement of the cosmetics and healthcare industries.
