QPIP (Qualified Patent Information Professional；認定特許情報プロフェッショナル）という国際的な資格に関して2024/10/27 にライブ配信されたYouTube「野崎篤志のイーパテントチャンネル-調査・分析系中心　QPIP ＆11月から日本で始まるPER」（約74分）をアーカイブで視聴しました。
「認定特許情報プロフェッショナル（QPIP）」は、Qualified Patent Information Professionalの頭文字を取ったもので、特許情報に関する専門的知識と技能を有するプロフェッショナルの国際資格で、特許情報の取得・分析・活用において高度な専門知識を持つ人材を認定し、信頼性を保証することを目的としているということです。
QPIP資格を取得するには、「試験ルート」と「Prior Experience Recognition（PER）ルート」という2つのルートがあり、日本では2024年11月から2025年1月末までの期間にPERプログラムが初めて実施される予定で、これが最初で最後の機会とされています。
日本でどれだけ普及するかは不明ですが、特許情報の分野で10年以上の実務経験を持つ人々に対して、試験を受けずに資格を取得できる機会を提供する特別な制度「PERプログラム」で国際的な資格を所得出来るようですので、特許情報の分野で10年以上の実務経験を持っている方はチャンスを生かすことを考えても良いように思います。

I watched an archived YouTube live broadcast on October 27, 2024, titled "Atsushi Nozaki's e-Patent Channel - Focused on Research and Analysis, QPIP & PER Starting in Japan from November" (approximately 74 minutes), which discussed the international qualification QPIP (Qualified Patent Information Professional).
The term "Qualified Patent Information Professional (QPIP)" refers to an international qualification, signifying professionals with specialized knowledge and skills in patent information. The purpose of the qualification is to certify and ensure the reliability of individuals who possess advanced expertise in obtaining, analyzing, and utilizing patent information.
There are two paths to obtaining the QPIP certification: the "exam route" and the "Prior Experience Recognition (PER) route." In Japan, the PER program is scheduled to run for the first and last time from November 2024 to the end of January 2025.
While it is unclear how widely it will spread in Japan, this PER program offers a special opportunity for individuals with more than ten years of experience in the patent information field to obtain the international qualification without taking the exam. For those with over a decade of practical experience in this field, it may be worth considering taking advantage of this chance.
