2025年8月7日、OpenAIがChatGPT-5をリリースしました。世界中のAIモデルをあらゆる指標で上回り、ナンバーワンになったようです。
GPT‑5 は、2つのモデルとルーター機能からなるシステムです。1つ目のモデルは、高速かつ効率的に幅広い質問に回答できる高速応答用モデル（高スループット）、2つ目のモデルはより複雑な問題に対して複雑問題用モデル（深い推論）（GPT‑5 thinking）です。そして、最適モデルを自動選択するリアルタイムルーター機能が、これら2つのモデルのどちらを使うべきか、会話の種類や複雑さ、必要なツール、ユーザーが示した意図（例えば、「深く考えて」など）に応じて、瞬時に判断し、切り替えてくれます。
さらに、最高難度の複雑なタスクに対応するため、GPT‑5 Pro がリリースされました。OpenAI o3‑pro に代わる新しいモデルで、長時間にわたり思考しつつ、効率的にスケーリングした並列テスト時計算を活用して、最高レベルの網羅的な回答を実現します。GPT‑5 Pro は、複数の高難易度ベンチマークで GPT‑5 ファミリー中最高の性能を示しています。

August 9 – Comparison of GPT-5, GPT-5 Thinking, and GPT-5 Pro
On August 7, 2025, OpenAI released ChatGPT-5. It appears to have surpassed all AI models worldwide across every benchmark, taking the number-one position.
GPT-5 is a system composed of two models and a routing function. The first is a high-throughput model designed to quickly and efficiently answer a wide range of questions. The second is a complex-problem model (deep reasoning), known as GPT-5 Thinking, which handles more intricate tasks. The real-time router automatically selects the optimal model based on factors such as the type and complexity of the conversation, required tools, and the user’s stated intent (e.g., “think deeply”), instantly switching between the two as needed.
In addition, GPT-5 Pro has been released to tackle the most challenging and complex tasks. This new model replaces OpenAI’s o3-pro and is capable of sustained, long-form reasoning while efficiently leveraging scaled parallel test-time computation to deliver the most comprehensive answers at the highest level. GPT-5 Pro has demonstrated the best performance within the GPT-5 family across multiple high-difficulty benchmarks.
