GPT-5.5の評価と知財実務へのインパクト

2026年4月23日、OpenAIは最新の大規模言語モデル「GPT-5.5」を発表しました。1週間前に、Anthropicが「Claude 4.7」を発表し、業界のパワーバランスを塗り替えたと評価されていましたが、その余韻をかき消すようにOpenAIが放ったカウンターが「GPT-5.5」だと評価されています。「自律型エージェントへのパラダイムシフト」を企画しており、特に、エージェント型コーディング、コンピュータ操作、知識労働、初期科学研究の分野で顕著な強みを発揮し、複雑なマルチステップタスクを自律的に実行する能力を備えています。

Evaluation of GPT-5.5 and Its Impact on IP Practice
On April 23, 2026, OpenAI announced its latest large language model, “GPT-5.5.” Just one week earlier, Anthropic had unveiled “Claude 4.7,” which was widely seen as reshaping the industry’s balance of power. However, GPT-5.5 is being evaluated as a decisive counter by OpenAI—one that effectively dispels that momentum.
Positioned around a “paradigm shift toward autonomous agents,” GPT-5.5 demonstrates particular strengths in agent-based coding, computer operation, knowledge work, and early-stage scientific research. It is equipped with the capability to autonomously execute complex, multi-step tasks, marking a significant step forward in practical AI deployment.
