Gemini 2.0 を使用して構築された「AI co-scientist 」

Googleは2月19日、科学者が新しい仮説や研究提案を生み出し、科学的および生物医学的発見の速度を加速するのを支援するために、仮想科学協力者として Gemini 2.0 を使用して構築されたマルチエージェント AI システムである AI co-scientist （AI 共同科学者）を立ち上げました。
研究者は自然言語を使用して、たとえば病原性微生物の拡散をより深く理解するなど、研究目標を指定することができ、AI co-scientist（AI 共同科学者）は、関連する公開文献の要約や可能な実験アプローチとともに、検証可能な仮説を提案するということです。
研究者がこのシステムを研究にどのように活用するかを見るのが楽しみです。

On February 19, Google launched AI co-scientist, a multi-agent AI system built using Gemini 2.0, as a virtual scientific collaborator to help scientists generate new hypotheses and research proposals and accelerate the pace of scientific and biomedical discovery.
Researchers can use natural language to specify research goals, such as gaining a deeper understanding of the spread of pathogenic microorganisms, and the AI co-scientist will suggest testable hypotheses along with summaries of relevant published literature and possible experimental approaches.
I look forward to seeing how researchers use this system in their research.
