進化したappia-engine：生成AIによる特許明細書作成

オンラインイベント「すごい知財EXPO2025」は、2025年4月17～18日に行われますが、それに先立ち、事前参加者登録限定セミナーが2回（2月5日と2月14日）行われました。
いずれも当日は視聴できなかったため、アーカイブ配信を視聴しました。
2月14日の「進化したappia-engine - 生成AI機能による効率的な特許明細書作成」(13:10-13:40)は、『「appia-engine」は、最適なUIとChatGPT連携により、スピーディーで効率的な特許明細書作成を実現したシステムです。1月に更なるアップデートを行いましたので、その紹介をいたします。』ということで、明細書作成のデモが中心でした。
生成AIの性能向上とプロンプトの工夫で、発明概要から特許請求の範囲の案が複数（デモでは5案、使いものになるのは２つ？）生成される、明細書案についてもサクサクと生成され、昨年秋のデモのときよりも大幅に良くなっている感じです。
この半年の進化は目覚ましいものがあり、今後に期待が膨らみます。

Evolved Appia-Engine: Patent Specification Drafting with Generative AI
 
The online event "Sugoi IP EXPO 2025" is scheduled to take place on April 17–18, 2025. Prior to the main event, two exclusive pre-registration seminars were held on February 5 and February 14.
Since I was unable to watch them live, I viewed the archived recordings.
The seminar on February 14, titled "Evolved Appia-Engine – Efficient Patent Specification Drafting with Generative AI" (13:10–13:40), introduced the "Appia-Engine", a system that enables fast and efficient patent specification drafting through an optimized UI and integration with ChatGPT. The session focused on a demonstration of the specification drafting process, showcasing an updated version of the system released in January.
With improved generative AI capabilities and refined prompt engineering, the system now generates multiple proposals for patent claims from an invention summary (in the demo, five proposals were generated, though only two seemed practical). The system also swiftly generated draft specifications, demonstrating a significant improvement compared to the demo in autumn last year.
The progress made over the past six months is remarkable, and expectations for future advancements continue to grow.
