生成AIがDXを加速させる

産業分野における生成AI活用には、生成AI活用1.0、生成AI活用2.0、生成AI活用3.0という３つの段階があるとされています。企業での知財業務への活用は、生成AI活用1.0の段階から生成AI活用2.0の段階に移りつつある段階と言えそうです。
 
生成AI活用1.0は、ChatGPTや、Geminiなどの既存のモデルを活用して業務効率化を行う段階です。全般的なアイデア出しや、議事録の作成、文章の要約、校閲などで活用する形で現在多くの企業が取り組んでいる段階で、この時点でもかなりの時間圧縮や生産性向上につながります。
生成AI活用2.0は、自社データ・産業データに基づく専門的な活用を行う（自社内効率化）段階です。自社データ・産業データを学習しファインチューニングを行い、より踏み込んだ業務における生成AI活用を通じて自社内での効率化を図る段階で、マニュアル・日報などの蓄積データを基にした、社内ノウハウへの早期アクセス、熟練技能者（メンテナンス、設計など）、ハイパフォーマー（営業、オペレーター）のノウハウの体系化、ノウハウ・デ ータに基づく各業務の効率化などが挙げられます。
生成AI活用3.0は、自社・産業ノウハウ・データを投入した生成AIサービスを外販する段階です。自社データ・産業データを学習しファインチューニングを行った上で、自社内活用に留まらず、その生成AIサービスをSaaSソリューションとして他社に対しても外販していく段階です。

In the field of industry, the use of generative AI is said to have three stages: Generative AI Utilization 1.0, Generative AI Utilization 2.0, and Generative AI Utilization 3.0. The use of generative AI in corporate intellectual property tasks is currently transitioning from the Generative AI Utilization 1.0 stage to the Generative AI Utilization 2.0 stage.
 
Generative AI Utilization 1.0 is the stage where existing models such as ChatGPT and Gemini are used to improve operational efficiency. Many companies are currently at this stage, using generative AI for general idea generation, meeting minutes creation, document summarization, and proofreading. Even at this stage, significant time savings and productivity improvements are realized.
 
Generative AI Utilization 2.0 is the stage of specialized utilization based on company and industry data (internal efficiency). By learning from and fine-tuning with company and industry data, this stage aims to improve internal efficiency through deeper generative AI applications in operations. It includes early access to internal know-how based on accumulated data such as manuals and daily reports, systematization of know-how from skilled workers (maintenance, design) and high performers (sales, operators), and efficiency improvements in various tasks based on know-how and data.
 
Generative AI Utilization 3.0 is the stage of selling generative AI services infused with company and industry know-how and data to the outside world. After learning from and fine-tuning with company and industry data, the stage involves selling the generative AI services as SaaS solutions to other companies, beyond just internal use.
