Generative AI (ChatGPT) Tackles the Patent Attorney Examination
 
Professor Koichiro Kato of Kanazawa Institute of Technology and Professor Takiko Akakura of Tokyo University of Science have reported the results of having ChatGPT attempt the Patent Attorney Examination (a short-answer written exam) and the Intellectual Property Management Skills Test. It seems that the untrained ChatGPT, which has not sufficiently learned Japanese data or Japanese laws, was overly burdened.
