旭化成の知的財産部門における生成AIの活用

5月28日に開催予定の「LexisNexis PatentSight+ Summit 2025」（会場（満席）＋Zoomのハイブリッド配信）では、味の素グループの知財戦略の進化「アミノサイエンス®を核とした知財戦略の進化と価値創造」、TDKのグローバル知財ガバナンス「TDKのグローバル知財ガバナンス挑戦と課題」、一般社団法人知財・無形資産ガバナンス協会・KDDIの未来の知財人材育成「未来を拓く知財人財とは？― 次世代を育てる戦略と視点」の講演とともに、パネルディスカッション「知財領域におけるAIの活用」が行われます。
毎年行われてきた「LexisNexis PatentSight+ Summit」ですが、今年も、知財戦略の最新動向を捉え、次代のビジョンを描く機会として、期待が膨らみます。

パネルディスカッション「知財領域におけるAIの活用」では、京セラ、島津製作所、旭化成から、急速に進んでいる知財調査や分析、IPランドスケープの実行におけるAI活用の現状や具体的な可能性と課題が報告され、議論されるとのことです。
パネリストとなっている会社の中から、旭化成の知財部門における生成AIの活用について、Deep Researchしてみました。Gemini(google), ChatGPT(OpenAI), Perplexity, Genspark, Felo AI, Manus, そして、Deep Researchではありませんが昨日リリースされたばかりのClaude Opus 4による調査結果です。公開された情報からだけの分析であり、必ずしも実情を示したものではないこと、誤った情報も含まれていることについてはご留意されたうえで、ご参照ください。

Utilization of Generative AI in Asahi Kasei's Intellectual Property Division

At the upcoming LexisNexis PatentSight+ Summit 2025 scheduled for May 28 (hybrid format: in-person [fully booked] + Zoom livestream), several key presentations will be delivered. These include:

In addition to these, a panel discussion titled "The Use of AI in the IP Domain" will be held.
The LexisNexis PatentSight+ Summit has been held annually, and this year again, it is anticipated to be a valuable opportunity to capture the latest trends in IP strategy and envision future directions.

In the panel discussion "The Use of AI in the IP Domain," panelists from Kyocera, Shimadzu Corporation, and Asahi Kasei will report and discuss the current status, potential, and challenges of rapidly evolving AI applications in IP research, analysis, and IP landscape execution.
As one of the panelist companies, I conducted Deep Research into the use of generative AI within the Intellectual Property Division of Asahi Kasei. This research leveraged tools such as Gemini (Google), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Perplexity, Genspark, Felo AI, Manus, and the newly released Claude Opus 4 (as of yesterday, not part of Deep Research per se).
