ファミリーマートは、2023年12月からの３カ月間の検証で、生成AI活用による業務効率化の広範な実証実験を推進した結果作業時間が約50％削減される見込みとなる業務を特定、今期に集中的に効率向上に取り組む方針ということです。
今回、時間削減効果が見られた業務は、各種アンケートの集計作業や社内文書および社員教育資料の作成、店舗経営を支援するスーパーバイザーから本部担当社員への問い合わせ対応だったということです。

　FamilyMart Co., Ltd. has identified operations that are expected to reduce work hours by approximately 50% as a result of extensive verification experiments to improve operational efficiency through the use of generative AI during a three-month verification period starting in December 2023, and intends to focus on improving efficiency during this fiscal year.
The tasks that showed time-saving effects this time were the tabulation of various questionnaires, preparation of internal documents and employee training materials, and response to inquiries from supervisors supporting store management to employees in charge at the head office.
