2025年10月、スタンフォード大学が主催するオンライン学会「Agents4Science」が開催されます。この学会は、人工知能（AI）が研究の着想から論文執筆、査読、さらには口頭発表まで、科学研究プロセスのほぼ全てを担うという、前例のない形式を特徴としていて、物理学から医学まで科学の全分野を対象とし、投稿される論文はAIが筆頭著者であることが義務付けられているそうです。
